M L N college celebrates National Science Day

YAMUNANAGAR: Science forum of M L N college, Indian Associations of Physics and Biology teachers celebrated National Science Day here on Friday. Dr Ramesh Kumar Principal of the M L N college highlighted the achievements of the college and informed the audience about the new courses being introduced from July 2004.
National Science Day is being celebrated in the sacred memory of Sir C V Raman, the noble Prize Winner of Physics.
Dr S L Dua, National Professor from the department of Botany, Punjab University, Chandigarh spoke on Modern Biology versus traditional Sciences. He highlighted his viewpoints on achievements of Science education in India during the last 50 years.
He said that rapid progress has been made due to the invention of new tools and techniques available in Modern Biology with us to explore human genome.
